It's important that students are able to identify and use the correct symbols to compare numbers. This pack includes a poster explaining each symbol- less than, greater than and equal to and displays the idea of using an open mouth with teeth, eating the larger number.
The activity cards allow students to insert the correct symbol and also write a sentence comparing the two numbers.
The cards are differentiated- numbers 0-10, 0-20 and 0-100 and there are blank cards for students to create their own number sentences.
