These activity cards allow students to explore various root words, which develops a better understanding of language. Studying the morphology of words is a great word work activity and gives students the chance to experiment with various prefixes and suffixes. Each cards asks students to identify the word origin, define the root, make a list of words with the root, draw a picture to represent the meaning and write sentences using the words.
These activity cards print out A4 in size.
